I’ve probably written this before, but I’m going to do it again because enough can’t be said about how insanely diverse the diving in Komodo is. There is only one other place in the world that I know of, Raja Ampat, where in one single day you can dive in one of the world’s best manta sites with huge congregations of reef mantas, to incredible reefs where the schools of fish can at times block out the sun, and finish it off with some critter diving where blue ring octopus and and flamboyant cuttle fish are regular log book entries. Oh, and the hills above the turquoise water roams giant prehistoric carnivorous lizards! There is no place else like it in the world, I can guarantee you that.
